Course learning outcomes / competencies
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Understand and testify to how logical software operates to extract cellular
phone data, Flashers, software and extraction techniques, recover deleted data
from various handsets, utilize software to obtain user/network codes not
available with any other software and utilize hex editors and interpreters to
decode cellular extracted data.
After successful completion of 40 hours of training, written examination and
practical exercise of a cellular handset utilizing the skills learned during the
workshop the student will receive a certificate of completion indicating the
passing of the course.

Course Description:
This continued education course in mobile forensics will move into communication
and advanced processing of mobile devices. This includes learning how traditional
software and hardware performs the data acquisitions and also utilizing additional
tools to obtain data that is non-recoverable with traditional "logical" software. At the
completion of the course the students:

- Will have an in-depth understanding of flash and the tools to obtain this type
of memory
- Understand Communication with handsets without commercial products!
- Utilize MFI's NEW methods for Forensic SIM Clone
- Use tools to recover, develop and interpret the physical data
- location data in physical memory
- recovering deleted pictures, videos and text fragments.
